This project was conceived as a way of telling the stories of homeless people in Brighton & Hove, wherein there is a large homeless community. Brighton has a relaxed and fun image, however I wanted to capture a different side of the city. Four homeless men were interviewed at a local day centre, alongside the manager of the centre. The photography and subtitle of the publication ‘anonymous’ aim to reflect the importance of anonymity to the interviewees; all of whom refused to be photographed.
